“Dharus Portal” launches, digitizing approval process for religious lectures

Islamic Ministry has launched its “Dharus Portal”, which offers organizers of religious lecture sessions and Islamic scholars who wish to deliver sermons more convenience in seeking necessary approvals.

The portal was launched by Islamic Minister Dr. Ahmed Zahir Ali in a meeting with local Islamic scholars on Thursday.

Islamic Ministry states that people who register on the portal and request approval will receive an SMS informing them if they receive approval.

The portal can be used by individual scholars, organizations, associations, and councils.

Once applicants receive their approval, they can inform the ministry whether they were able to hold the lecture as approved, via the portal.
