Foreign national was murdered: Police

The Police have said that the foreign national found dead in a building in Male’ today had been murdered.

Police Spokesperson Sub-Inspector Hassan Haneef said that investigations so far have revealed that the foreign national found at 11:30am today in a house located near Gloria Mart on Chaandhanee Magu, had been murdered.

Haneef said that the Bangladeshi had been attacked with a sharp object, but did not give any further details.

Police forensic teams have blocked the area for investigations.

Sun Online understands that the building in which the man was found is used for storing resort supply goods.
