Defense Minister departs on official visit to UAE

Defense Minister Mariya Ahmed Didi departed on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates on Saturday. 

Mariya is travelling to the UAE at the invitation of UAE’s Minister of State for Defense Sheikh Mohammed Ahmad Al Bowardi to attend the fifth edition of the Unmanned System Exhibition and Conference scheduled to be held in Abu Dhabi from February 21-23. 

The event is organized by Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company, Thawazun Economic Council, and UAE’s Defense Ministry. 

It marks Mariya’s second official visit to the UAE this year. Her first visit to UAE this yearr had been to Dubai in January accompanying President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
