Local telecommunication company, Dhiraagu, has signed as the exclusive digital partner for Maldives Basketball Association.
At a ceremony held yesterday, the partnership agreement was signed by Dhiraagu’s Senior Manager, Brand and Marketing Communications, Mohamed Mirshan Hassan and Maldives Basketball Associations’ President Ahmed Adam.
Mirshan said the Dhiraagu is pleased to become the digital partner for MBA and support the development of young talents, trainers and referees across the country.
“We are delighted to be the digital partner for Maldives Basketball Association and support the development of young talent, trainers, and referees across the country. Basketball becoming a more popular sport among the youth, we hope to uplift their experience together with Maldives Basketball Association,” he had said.
Ahmed Adam thanked Dhiraagu for their active participation in contributing towards the development of basketball in the Maldives.
“We would like to thank Dhiraagu for their active participation in contributing towards the development of Maldives’ basketball. We are grateful for all the support we have received from the company over the years and looking forward to taking the sport to the next level,” he had said.
Dhiraagu reiterated that they will continue to support and advocate projects to strengthen communities through sports and recreation.
