Muslim World League Secretary-General conferred Order of the Dignified Rule of Kalaafaanu

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, on Monday, has conferred the Order of the Dignified Rule of Kalaafaanu to the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa.

The honorable order was presented to Secretary-General Mohammed Al-Issa at a special ceremony held at the President’s Office this afternoon.

President Solih bestowed the order to Secretary-General Mohammed Al-Issa in recognition of his exceptional contributions to strengthening ties between the Maldives and the Muslim World League, preserving Islamic unity, and promoting global peace and harmony.

The Order of the Dignified Rule of Kalaafaanu is dedicated to Sultan Ibrahim III (Kalaafaanu) Siree Sudhdha Mahaa Radhun who reigned over the Maldives from 1585 to 1609.
