HDC outsources Hiya Flat security, maintenance

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) announced that the security and daily cleaning and maintenance work of Hiyaa flats have been outsourced.

According to HDC, the security and maintenance work has been outsourced, effective from February 1 onwards. As per them, this was to provide better services to the tenants.

Security services were contracted to Veshi Pvt Ltd, with whom necessary agreements were signed on January 31.

HDC stated that security staff will guard the ground floor, basement and parking area, and would also monitor the premises and CCTV systems and regular intervals. Moreover, security would be provided 24 hours, and staff will attend to any issues and incidents that get reported by residents and management.

Meanwhile, HDC stated that cleaning services have been assigned to four different parties that will clean the Hiya Towers from 08:00 am to 12:00 am on a daily basis.

Towers H1, H2, H3 and H4: LM Enterprises

Towers H5, H6, H7 and H8: Palm Glow

Towers H9, H10, H11 and H12: K.S.A Maldives

Towers H13, H14, H15 and H16: Lero Investment

Agreements for cleaning services were signed on January 31 as well.

Additionally, in order to maintain the cleanliness of the whole area, major cleaning will be carried out weekly and monthly basis as needed said HDC.
