President Solih departs on official trip to UAE

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, on Sunday morning, has departed to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on an official trip.

The President’s Office said that the trip is made in response to an invitation extended by the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces. High Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

During this visit, President Solih will attend the opening ceremony of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW). The event will see the participation of world leaders and experts in different sectors – and is a platform for the global community to unite to accelerate sustainable development.

He will also attend the ceremony to present the Zayed Sustainability Prize on Monday. This award recognizes and rewards the achievements of those who are driving impactful, innovative and inspiring sustainability solutions

President Solih is accompanied by a high-level government delegation on this trip.
