President to depart on tour of N. Atoll on Tuesday

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih is scheduled to travel out of Male’ City on a tour of islands in N. Atoll on Tuesday morning. 

According to President’s spokesperson Mabrook Azeez, the President will visit Maafaru, Landhoo, Manadhoo, Magoodhoo and Holhudhoo. 

In his tour, the President will check the progress of development projects in the islands and meet with members of the N. Atoll Council, local councils and women’s development committees, as well members of the local communities in the islands. 

In his visit to Maafaru, the President will tour the site of the water and sewerage project, and meet with residents. 

In Landhoo, the President will inaugurate the mosque and harbor developed by the government, and meet with members of the local council, women’s development committee, and residents of the island. 

In Manadhoo, the President will tour and check the status of the N. Atoll Hospital located in the island, and meet members of the N. Atoll Council, the local council, women’s development committee, and residents of the island. 

In Magoodhoo, the President will inaugurate the new powerhouse built in the island. He will also tour and check the status of the local health center and the overall status of healthcare services in the island, and meet residents. 

And in Holhudhoo, the President will inaugurate the football field built in the island, and meet with members of the local council, women’s development committee, and residents of the island. 

President Solih began his nation-wide tour last year. He has visited HDh. Atoll, Sh. Atoll, R. Atoll, AA. Atoll, and Th. Atoll.
