Avid College holds convocation ceremony

Avid College on Sunday held its convocation ceremony for students who graduated in 2020 and 2021.

According to the college, a two-session ceremony was held to mark the achievements of students who graduated from different courses offered there.

Both morning and evening sessions of the ceremony were held at Huravee School hall in Hulhumale.

While Dr Rasheeda Mohamed Didi presided the morning session, President of Islamic Organization for Culture and Civilization (OIC) and former Chancellor of Islamic University of Maldives (IUM) Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed was the chief guest in the evening session.

In addition to handing over certificates to the graduates, the college marked and awarded students that achieved the highest grades in various programs.

Moreover, a video report was presented based on the achievements attained by the college under the guidance of the current Chairman Abdulla Mushtaq Rashaad was shown.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Mushtaq urged students who graduated from master’s programs to take part in the researches done by the college.
