MNUSU and American Center conduct cleanup event in Male’

Maldives National University Students’ Union (MNUSU), in collaboration with the American Center Maldives, has conducted a cleanup event in Male’ City. 

The event was held at the Artificial Beach in Henveiru district of Male’ City on Wednesday evening. 

Total 203.8 kilos of waste were collected during the event, including metal, glass, plastic and general waste. 

More than 30 leaders from MNUSU, members of the American Center, and a large number of students from Ghiyasuddin International School participated in the event. 

MNU said the event was held with the purpose of increasing environmental awareness and solidarity among students.
