Death of IGMH nurse: Police seize husband’s lover’s phone for investigation

The police have seized the phone of the lover of the husband of Mary Grace, a Filipino nurse at Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) who died under suspicious circumstances two weeks ago, for investigative purposes.

Sun has been informed that Mary Grace’s husband; Marvin’s lover is Maldivian who also works as a nurse at IGMH.

Whilst her phone has been seized for investigative purposes by the police – she also has been suspended from her job.

As per information received to Sun – some co-workers were aware of the affair between Marvin and his lover. They also report that altercations have occurred between Mary Grace and Marvin’s lover over the affair prior to this. Marvin and his lover were also reportedly very open about their affair.

The death of Mary Grace, who worked as a nurse at IGMH’s Dialysis Center, had initially been reported as a case of suicide by hanging on October 19.

Her dead body was taken to the hospital by Marvin – moments after she had gone home for break whilst on duty.

According to a credible source, the husband told the hospital staff that his wife committed suicide by hanging herself, and then later changed his story said that she suddenly collapsed. 

The police found the death suspicious, and opened an investigation into the case. Later on, the police announced that they had arrested Marvin in connection to his wife’s death.

No further details have been disclosed by the police regarding the case – other than the fact that authorities were working on transporting Mary Grace’s body overseas to conduct an autopsy.
