Parliament Speaker and leader of MDP, former President Mohamed Nasheed, on Monday, travelled to ADh. Maamigili to meet JP leader Qasim Ibrahim.
Nasheed travelled to Maamigili on a flight operated by Qasim’s airline - Flyme – on Monday afternoon. He received a red-carpet welcome upon arrival at the Maamigili International Airport.
JP’s spokesperson Ali Solih said the two leaders will engage in discussions on multiple subjects, but declined to disclose details.
Nasheed was accompanied on his trip by MDP parliamentary group leader Ali Azim, MDP chairperson Hassan Latheef, and MDP deputy leader Mohamed Shifaz.
