In this regard, they have requested members of the public to inform them if a mistake is noticed in any of the textbooks via email. The Ministry instructs to email them at [email protected] – specifying which book it is and the page the mistake is on.

Prior to this, the Ministry has also stated that a special committee has been formed that will undertake the task of proofreading all Islam and Quran textbooks publicized for school children.

Noting that it was an independent committee – the Ministry noted that it was comprised of three-member teams for each grade.

They also noted that the committee is targeting to complete the proofreading works by the end of next week.

As part of their tasks – the committee will also formulate and submit a comprehensive report detailing the mistakes found in the books.
