Jumeirah Group to open a new resort in the Maldives on October

Dubai’s renowned luxury hotel chain - Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts – has announced the opening of a brand new resort in the Maldives; Jumeriah Maldives.

Jumeirah Maldives is scheduled to welcomes its first guests on October 1.

The newest addition to Jumeirah Group’s growing portfolio will be situated on the island of Olhahali in North Male’ Atoll – where Lux North Male’ Atoll Resort had previously been in operation. The island will be easily reachable via speedboat or launch for guests.

Jumeriah Maldives offers 67 beach and over-water villas in one-, two- and three-bedroom configurations – whereas each features a private infinity pool and large roof-top terrace with a dedicated dining area.

The resort features Jumeirah Group’s two award-winning signature restaurants, Shimmers and Kayto, which guarantee over-the-top dining experiences – and its globally renowned Talise Spa.

Guest will be able to enjoy an array of activities from water sports, beach volleyball, billiards, and tennis – or take part in enriching experiences from underwater photography, planting coconut trees, and making coconut oil.
