A special hotline has been created to report internet-related complaints by the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology.
The Ministry’s hotline number is 1514.

According to the Ministry, the hotline was created as part of the ‘#NetuHeyo’ campaign for customers to submit complaints regarding the internet service, or their service provider. The Ministry also added their aim under the ‘#NetuHeyo’ campaign is to improve the overall experience with internet usage.
The government’s decision to change the prices of internet packages, along with the new prices were announced on May 27. Reducing the prices of the internet is an electoral pledge of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
