President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed have returned to Male’ City after concluding their three-day trip to Kulhudhuffushi City, HDh. Kumundhoo and HDh. Hanimaadhoo.
They returned to Male’ City on Sunday evening.
The first stop in their tour was to Kulhudhuffushi City. President Solih and First Lady Fazna toured the island’s landmarks and met with the city’s leaders. The President also engaged in discussions with HDh. Atoll Council, Kulhudhuffushi City Council, Kulhudhuffushi Women’s Development Committee (WDC), heads of educational institutions, heads of Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital and senior officers at Kulhudhuffushi Police Station.
The First Lady also held various meetings with Kulhudhuffushi city stakeholders during the visit, including the members of the Kulhudhuffushi WDC.
The second stop in their tour was to Kumundhoo, where President Solih met with members of the Kumundhoo Council and Kumundhoo WDC.
The first couple also toured several areas in Kumundhoo.
Their final stop was to Hanimaadhoo, where President Solih held discussions with several stakeholders, including members of the Hanimaadhoo Council and Hanimaadhoo WDC. He also inaugurated the construction phase of the road development project on the island and examined the progress of ongoing government projects.
First Lady Fazna, meanwhile, met with the Hanimaadhoo WDC before concluding the trip.
Cabinet Ministers, along with senior government officials, accompanied the President and the First Lady on this trip.
They were accompanied on the tour by Cabinet ministers and other senior government officials.
