Three more deaths have been reported in relation to COVID-19 in the Maldives, bringing the total death toll to 129, with six of them reported today alone.
The deceased are aged 79, 78, and 68 years. They were all admitted at the Hulhumale' Medical Facility. The 78-year old was a male while the 79-year old and the 68-year old were female.
The other deaths reported today include former Auditor General of the Maldives Ismail Fathuhy who passed away aged 80.
The month of May has marked the highest number of COVID-19 deaths to be recorded in a single month in the Maldives with 56 deaths in total.
