WAMCO announces waste collection timings for Ramadan

The Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) has announced timings for the public to leave waste and trash outdoors for collection during the month of Ramadan. 

WAMCO said that the timings for waste collection during Ramadan for the areas of Male’ City, Hulhumale’ and Vilimale’ are from 22:00 to 23:00. 

Apart from the collection timings, changes were also brought to the waste transfer station services of the company. 

Male’ Waste Transfer Station

• Every day except Friday: 10:00 to 17:00 – 20:00 to 03:00
• Friday: 14:00 to 17:00 – 20:00 to 03:00

Vilimale’ Waste Transfer Station

• Every day except Friday: 10:00 to 17:00 – 20:00 to 03:00
• Friday: 14:00 to 17:00 – 20:00 to 03:00

Hulhumale’ Waste Transfer Station

• Every day except Friday: 10:00 to 17:00 – 20:00 to 01:00
• Friday: 14:00 to 17:00 – 20:00 to 01:00

S. Hithadhoo Waste Management Center 

• Every day except Friday: 10:00 to 17:00 – 20:00 to 03:00
• Friday: 14:30 to 17:00 – 20:30 to 23:00
