Kulhudhuffushi City under monitoring after positive COVID-19 case

The northern city of Kulhudhuffushi has been brought under monitoring mechanisms after an individual brought in to the hospital of Kulhudhuffushi from Lh. Naifaru tested positive for COVID-19. 

Kulhudhuffushi is home to the regional hospital and is frequented by visitors from all over the northern region of the nation for medical care. The positive case from Naifaru was referred to the hospital from Naifaru after having traveled to the island of R. Ungoofaaru. 

Kulhudhuffushi City is now under monitoring mechanisms for contact tracing. Naifaru is also under monitoring mechanisms after a healthcare worker on the island tested positive for the virus. The positive case from Naifaru is also connected with the Ungoofaaru cluster.

The nearby island of Felivaru is also under monitoring mechanisms after a positive case was reported.
