Maldivian Red Crescent has opened registration for undocumented migrant workers in Maldives to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

While Maldivians and documented migrant workers can register for vaccine via the central my.health.mv portal, migrant workers without worker’s permit or other documents can register with the Red Crescent’s beneficiary system – an online registration system independently established and managed by Red Crescent - in order to sign up for the national COVID-19 vaccine program.

Red Crescent issued statements on Saturday in Bangla, Hindi and Tamil, announcing that registration for undocumented migrant workers is now open.

Undocumented migrant workers can contact the migrant support center in Red Crescent Male’ branch at 3307665 to register for vaccination. The center will be open from 10:00 am to 05:00 pm each day, except for Fridays.

Red Crescent began looking for volunteers to assist in the vaccination of undocumented workers last week.
