Telecom operator Ooredoo Maldives has announced the company generated a profit after tax of MVR 104 million during the last quarter of the year 2020.
Quarterly financial records released by Ooredoo Maldives show the company generated MVR 402 million as revenue in Q4; including MVR 304 million from mobile services, MVR 91 million from fixed broadband and enterprise service, and MVR 6,121 from other services.
The company spent MVR 222 million on operational costs during the period.
Ooredoo Maldives, established in 2005, is one of two telecom service operators in Maldives. Shares at Ooredoo Maldives are held by Wataniya International FZ-LLC, Pension Administration Office, and the general public.
