The government of the Maldives has announced for interested parties to apply for partnership of the Border Miles program introduced to market the Maldives and increase tourist arrivals.

The program introduced on this year’s Tourism Day awards points to travelers based on a special scheme.

The points are awarded based on the frequency of travel and stay duration after which travelers are entitled to special amenities. The program will allow visitors to earn different benefits at resorts, as well as exclusive services.

The program is based on a total of three tiers.

  • Bronze: Aidha'
  • Silver: Anthara
  • Gold: Abaarana

The program was initiated by Maldives Immigration and developed with the support of tourism stakeholders.
