Ooredoo customers can now send missed calls, even with zero balance

Ooredoo Maldives introduced a new service on Thursday, allowing its prepaid and mixed-package customers to send missed calls to any local number, even with insufficient balance.

The service does not require a subscription or activation process, but is available by default and is free of charge.

Ooredoo Maldives’s CEO and MD, Najib Khan said the company is always looking to introduce services which will improve customer convenience and connectivity.

He said that the mixed call service introduced this Thursday will allow Ooredoo customers to place missed calls to numbers which belong to any local network.

“Our hope is that this service allows our customers more convenience in contacting family and friends who live far away, when they need it the most,” said Khan.

Further information regarding the service is available on Ooredoo Maldives' website.
