Mahinooz Abu Bakr, who is in charge of managing the Thulhaadhoo health center, told Sun the patient died of a heart attack at approximately 03:30 pm.

“We checked on him in the morning. He didn’t present with any COVID-related symptoms,” said Mahinooz.

Mahinooz said the patient’s condition had been stable when checked in the morning.
