Maldivian said that passengers that wish to travel on the flight are requested to follow HPA guidelines and register with the ‘Haalu Belun’ portal.

Tickets are to be purchased privately.

Foreign Ministry and Maldivian have been conducting repatriation flights for locals abroad since the early days of the COVID-19 outbreak in the world.

Flights were held to countries such as India, Thailand, Malaysia as well as Sri Lanka.

Flights through other airlines were also held. Those returning are required to complete a quarantine period.
