2 migrants arrested in connection with violent brawl

Two migrants have been arrested in connection with a brawl that occurred in a residence of Male' City last night.

Police stated that the violence occurred in a migrant worker accommodation residence in Chaandhanee Magu around 1:54 last night.

The men were arrested for attacking another migrant worker with a sharp object. The victim suffered lacerations to the head and had reportedly fainted after walking out of the residence.

He was later taken to IGMH hospital by a Police vehicle. Police are now further investigating the matter.
