Parliament of the Maldives will recommence sessions tomorrow after a break of one week. The sessions will be conducted online and MPs will take part from their homes.
The session will be live-streamed on TV and media. Online parliamentary sessions were commenced by the Parliament on March 31, after a temporary break due to the Covid-19 situation.
The parliament had decided to conduct sessions in the parliamentary building before the break last week. However, due to a change in the situation, sessions will once again be conducted online after a number of Covid-19 cases were identified in the capital.
The last session of the parliament in the parliamentary building was held on March 24 and involved discussions regarding online sessions.
