44 suspicious packages wash up the shores of Maamendhoo

44 suspicious packages have been found washed up the southern shoreline of G. A. Maamendhoo.

According to the police, the sighting of the packages was reported to the agency at approximately 6:35 am on Monday.

They agency is running tests to identify the contents of the packages.

The latest sighting of suspicious packages follows the sighting of a suspicious package from the lagoon of K. Girifushi, which houses the police training camp, on Thursday, January 16, and a similar sighting from B. Eydhafushi in December.
