Man found dead in terrace of residential building in Male'

A man has been found dead in the terrace of Tomatoge, a residential building located in Machangolhi district of Male’ City.

The police say the case was reported to the agency at approximately 11:18 am this Monday.

The officers who attended the scene found the man unresponsive with foaming at the mouth – a sign of a possible drug overdose.

Preliminary findings show the man had not been a resident of the building.

The police are currently working on identifying the man.

They are also working on removing the man’s body from the scene and transporting it to the hospital with the assistance of Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF).
