Elderly man found dead in a house in Male' city

A dead body of an elderly man has been found in a house in Male' city.

Police stated that the report of an unresponsive 60-year old elderly man in a house in Maafannu was passed on by the MNDF around 10:19 today. Police did not divulge the address of the house or provide any further details regarding the man.

The man was pronounced dead by ADK paramedics. MNDF fire and rescue officers are now working at the scene to move the body due to the difficult design of the stairs in the house.
