Judge Ali Rasheed’s residence vandalized with an ax

The recently appointed chief judge of the Criminal Court Ali Rasheed’s apartment door has been vandalized with an ax.

The Police stated that they received reports of the act of vandalism and a note that was written on Judge Ali Rasheed’s apartment door around 5:30 in the morning. The ax used in the act was found nearby, however, it is not known what was written on the door of the judge's residence.

Police stated that no arrests have so far been made in the case but that the authorities will be taking the necessary steps after the investigation of the case.

Judge Ali Rasheed was appointed as the chief judge of the Criminal Court on November 5, following the suspension of the former judge Ahmed Hailam.
