MVR 200,000 worth party drugs seized

Maldives customs seized MVR 200,000 worth of party drugs smuggled from a plane from Bangladesh on Wednesday night.

Customs officials stated that the drugs were found from the luggage of a 28-year old male. Around 2,339 pills tested for Amphetamines were found in the man’s luggage. The drugs had a reported street value of MVR 233,000.

The man has now been handed over to Police.
