Local automobile seller Litus has announced a CSR initiate under which it will distribute 800 helmets.
Litus’ senior marketing manager, Asif Rasheed told Sun this Tuesday that the initiative is aimed at boosting road safety awareness.
Litus has acquired 3,000 helmets for distribution.
2,000 helmets have already been distributed to members of general public, and 200 more to corporate offices.
Its new initiative will distribute the remaining 800 helmets.
“We previously distributed 2,000 helmets, and some more to corporate offices. We will distribute the remaining 800 helmets this time,” said Asif Rasheed.
The helmets are valued at MVR 1.2 million.
Distribution of the helmets will be held out of its showroom located in Janavaree Magu of Male’ until November 15.
