Fuvahmulah city to receive a new generator

Work is underway to transport a new generator set to Fuvahmulah city.

Fenaka Corporation which provides electricity services to many islands within the Maldives stated that this Fuvahmulah will receive a generator of 1.2 megawatts and has already been loaded onto a boat to be transported to the city of 10,000.

Deputy Mayor of Fuvahmulah city Mohamed Shiraar stated to “Sun” that the city was currently powered by four generators which produce a total of 4.2 megawatts. 

Fenaka estimates that the generator set will reach Fuvahmulah city within the next three days and will be installed in the upcoming week.
