MDP Interim Chairperson speaks of planned bomb attacks during SAARC Summit

Moosa “Reeko” Mani, the Interim Chairperson of the ruling Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has said that “some people have planned bomb attacks during the upcoming SAARC Summit”.

In a gathering held last night at MDP’s Official Activity Centre in Malé, Moosa spoke, saying that he had obtained information about a planned bomb attack, and said that he knew who participated in the plot.

However, Moosa did not state any details about who were planning the attack or about the target of the attacks.

“Our CIA is better than CIA in the United States of America. That is why we have come to know about the planned bomb attacks. Newspapers would question me about what I have said, but I would not answer them”, said Moosa.

Moosa also repeated MDP’s constant criticism of the Maldivian Judiciary, and he also heavily condemned the Adhaalath Party.
