Dhiraagu to run coding program for women in Fuvahmulah

Dhiraagu is gearing up to start a coding program focused on women in Fuvahmulah City.

The program named "Girls to Code" will be carried out in Fuvahmulah city on September 22 and will be focused on teaching women how to code and increase their interest in technology.

The program is focused on females between the age of 14 and 20 and will be free for the 20 allocated participants. The program will teach participants to code using HTML, CSS, and Javascript and will be carried out in the Institute of Logistics and Technology in Fuvahmulah City.

Women in Tech stated that such programs were extremely important in increasing the number of females in the industry and reduce the disparity between skilled women and men in the industry. Dhiraagu stated that this was an area where its CSR programs were very much dedicated to and that further programs will be held in the future regarding the outcome of this program.
