President returns to Male' after the 'Miladhekunu Adhabee Eid 2019'

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has returned to Male’ this morning after concluding his trip to Manadhoo of Noonu Atoll. 

The President’s trip to the island was to participate as the Guest of Honour in the closing ceremony of 'Miladhekunu Adhabee Eid 2019' organized by Dhivehi Bahuge Academy. The President also awarded the winners of the different activities held during the Adhabee Eid with prizes. 

The Adhabee Eid is conducted by the Dhivehi Bahuge Academy to enlighten and increase the interest in the Dhivehi language.  It was held from 11 to 14 September. The Dhivehi Bahuge Academy has held such events in G.A Villingili, G. Dh Thinadhoo, Lh. Naifaru and M. Muli previously. 

The event was participated by 200 students from 10 schools in 10 islands. 19 members of the public also took part in the event. The President was joined on this trip by officials from the Ministry of Arts, Culture and Heritage on this trip.
