Criminal Court closed due to termite infestation

The Criminal Court of Maldives has been closed to exterminate the building from a termite infestation.

Cases scheduled at the court for today have been postponed as the building was gassed earlier to exterminate the insects. 

Hearings of some notable case hearings had been scheduled at the court for today, including the case of Nadheem Abdul Raheem who was murdered inside Terminal Cafe in Male' City and the case Ibrahim Aagil who was murdered near MMA. The case of Ismail Saffaan who was 14 years old when he was killed near Auto Garage in Male' City was also scheduled at the court today. 

The Criminal Court had been hit with termite infestation on previous occasions and has recently announced that it was searching for exterminators.
