Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) reports the issue with the air conditioning system at the hospital’s Emergency Room will be fixed in early May.
Media official at IGMH, Mohamed Mufeed reported to ‘Sun’ this Tuesday that the air conditioning units at the ER aren’t working due to an issue with the hospital’s central air conditioning system.
He said that the hospital has purchased the equipment it needs to fix the issue. And will receive the equipment within the first two weeks of coming May.
“It will be fixed within the first two weeks of next month. We have ordered the cooling towers from abroad,” said Mufeed.
IGMH has recently been overwhelmed with complaints from patients and loved ones regarding overheating at the hospital’s ER.
