President Solih departs to India

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has departed to India this Sunday at the invitation of the Indian Cricket Board.

Spokesperson of President’s Office, Ibrahim Hood informed that the President is vising India to attend a cricket match that will be held in Bangalore this Sunday night.

He stated that this is a trip to watch the cricket match of Indian Premier League between Royal Challengers Bangalore – led by Virat Kohli and Chennai Super Kings – led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Hood stated that the President will hold discussions about the cricket stadium that is to be built in Hulhumale’. He also sated that the President Solih will meet the Maldivians living in Bangalore during his short visit.

President Solih will come back to Male’ on Monday, 22nd April.
