Interpol removes red notice on 4 MMPRC case suspects

Interpol Red Notice has removed four names on the list on account of MMPRC scandal.

Four names on the Interpol Red Notice list, on account of the MMPRC embezzlement case has been removed from the list.

Maldives Police Service confirms that the decision to remove the names from the list were made by the government. They stated that the red notice was originlly issued when the suspects did not present themselves for questioning.

Police stated that the suspects had since cooperated with the agency and provided their statements, and that there was no more reason for the red notice on the suspects.

The names Mohamed Aseel Ahmed, Mohamed Allam Latheef, Ahmed Ishfah Ali and Mohamed Hussain were removed from the Interpol Red Notice list.

There are 11 Maldivians in the Interpole Red Notice list even now.
