Agreement signed for purchase of waste management equipment

An Agreement of MVR1 million has been signed between the Ministry of Environment and Energy and Biz4maldives, for the purchase of waste management equipment.

This contract was signed today by Minister of State for Environment and Energy, Abdul Matheen Mohamed; and Managing Director of Biz4maldives, Ibrahim Nashid.

The Agreement is valid for two months from the day the project is assigned.

According to Environment Ministry, this Agreement is in relation to a project conducted with the aid of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) under the Environmental Infrastructure and Management Project, with the purpose of planning and strengthening environmental management.
