Missing tourist found dead

A tourist who went missing during snorkeling north of Vaavu Atoll Alimatha has been found dead. The search began for a tourist from Northless Cruiser 2 safari yacht around 1:33 p.m. today. 

MNDF said that the 57-year-old missing tourist was found dead underwater. The body was discovered by the resort divers and the search divers of the MNDF Coast Guard. 

The body is now being recovered from the water.
