Zeeniya Hameed appointed Permanent Secretry at Planning Ministry

Zeeniya Ahmed Hameed has been appointed as the Permanant Secretary at the Ministry of Planning and Infrastructure. 

At a ceremony held at the Planning Ministry where Minister, Mohamed Alsam was in attendence, the letter of appointment was presented by President of the Civil Service Commission (CSC), Dr. Ali Shameem. 

Zeeniya has worked as a Civil Servant for 11 years working in government positions as the Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Construction and Public Infrastructure and as a member of the Tender Board at the Ministry of Finance and Treasury and a member of the Executive Committee at the Faculty of Engineering at the Maldives National University. 

She has a Bachelor or Architecture from Australia's Curtin University and has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. 

At the ceremony today, the President of the CSC requested to work within the CSC regulations under the advisement of the Ministers. And work with the CSC employees to implement the government policies with integrity. 

Permanant Secretaries are the highest rank of Civil Servants.
