Vice President Faisal Naseem has moved to Hilaaleege.
Faisal Naseem and his family moved to Hilaaleege – the official residence of the Maldivian Vice President – last Monday evening.
The change in residence had been delayed for two months to carry out maintenance and repair work on Hilaaleege.
Former residence of Hilaaleege include the former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, former Vice President Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed, and former Maldivian President Dr. Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik.
MVR 2.5 million has been allocated in the State budget for 2019 to spend on the official residence of the VP.
