The Maldivian Coast Guard ship, Huravee, has been docked at the Indian navy dockyard Visakhapatnam for repairs.
While the ship's extensive refitting is set to cost USD 5 million, it is being funded by India.
Huravee is a fast-attack craft made in Kolkata, India. The vessel left to India for repairs on 6 July with Commander Major Mohamed Jamsheed and 25 crewmen.
The vessel is designed and used against pirate and coastal patrol along with anti-drug operations and search and rescue operations.
