Seven specialist doctors from Pakistan to begin Health Camp

Pakistan Embassy in the Maldives has prepared to start a Health Camp in the Maldives with seven specialist doctors. 

The Health Camp begins in Male' City tomorrow and people can consult the doctors without any fees. The Camp is set to visit some of the atolls as well. 

Health Ministry said that Health Camp being held with the Pakistan Embassy would have experienced doctors and patients can consult them very easily. 

The Health Camp will be held at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), Laamu Gan Regional Hospital, Haa Alifu Atoll Hospital, Noonu Atoll Hospital, Faafu Atoll Hospital, Dhaalu Atoll Hospital and Thaa Atoll Hospital. 

The Urologist, Cardiothoracic Surgeon, Breast Surgeon and the Neurosurgeon will be consulting at IGMH while the other doctors will be consulting at other hospitals. 

Those who wisht to consult in the Health Camp can now note their names for the camp. 

The Pakistan Embassy made a statement saying that these Medical Camps first of their kind are unique that specialists would not only provide patient consultations, conduct surgeries if required, but would also deliver continuing medical education within their areas of practice for Maldivian healthcare professionals. 

"The goal of these Medical Camps is to provide state of art health facilities to Maldivians at their door steps. It is believed that these medical camps would not only bring Medical professionals of both the countries closer but would also bring people of two Muslim nations together." The Pakistan Embassy's statement said.
