Bondaa arrested following Court order

Maafannu Dhekunu MP Ibrahim Rasheed (Bondaa) was arrested late last night following a Court order.

A Police Media official informed that Bondaa was arrested for questioning regarding an ongoing investigation.

He did not disclose further details.

Sun Online has been informed that Bondaa was taken under arrest while he was at Munsoon Café located in front of former Dharumavantha Mosque.

Bondaa was also arrested at a protest by Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) a few days ago, during which protesters took to the streets on motorcycles.

Former President Mohamed Nasheed was also summoned to the Police Headquarters yesterday, for questioning regarding the investigation of a case against Nasheed for inciting violence against the Police.
