Authorities apprehend would-be stabber from Male'

Police have apprehended a man suspected of attempting to stab someone with a knife from Male' City.

Police media official said the incident took place at approximately 4:48 pm this Saturday, in front of the Juway's Cafe in Maaveyo Magu.

The suspect was apprehended by traffic police patrolling the area.

The suspect is a young man, says the police.

The police said the man had a knife on him when he was arrested.

The case is under investigation by the police.
