Boat out fishing breaks at sea

A boat from Gaafu Alifu Kanduhulhudhoo, out at sea, fishing, has broken at the middle.

A crewman from the vessel named "Randhuveli 105" told Sun Media that the incident took place around 2 p.m. today about 18 miles east of Kanduhulhudhoo.

He said that the 95 foot vessel is about 13 years old.

Member of the Kanduhulhudhoo Island Council, Shahid Ibrahim Didi told Sun Media that the boat broken at sea has now been towed into the island's lagoon with the help of three other vessels.

Shahid said that there were 25 crewman on board when the vessel broken about the middle.

No one was injured in the incident.
